TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE IN LEO ~ STEP INTO THE LIGHT

At this full moon total lunar eclipse, destiny calls.
We continue to face a great deal of tension as we undergo major transformations in our individual and collective lives, as the North and South Nodes, Uranus, and Pallas Athene remain in a Cardinal Grand Cross Pattern, and Mercury transits Pluto and the South Node in Capricorn.
In the power-over, winner-take-all paradigm that currently rules the world, we’ve learned what it takes to survive: we must be strong competitors. It’s all a numbers game, and the system is rigged.
In shadow Capricorn fashion, our perceived value in society is often based on how well we can perform, as well as the status and privilege that we hold.
In this system, our humanity is not an asset; it’s a liability.
We’ve learned that our realness is not welcome and may even cause us to be rejected or harmed.
So we hide our flaws, our struggles, and our needs behind a more acceptable veneer because we think it will keep us safe (and sometimes maybe it does).
Many of us are also hiding our greatest gifts and talents.
Sometimes we dim our own light because it makes others feel uncomfortable. Maybe we’ve learned that too much light, too much attention makes us vulnerable to exploitation. Many of us have had experiences that taught us it’s safer to go unnoticed.
Moon in Leo is here to inspire you as the warm-hearted child who eagerly shares her creations with the world. She wants to be seen and celebrated for who she is, and she wants to bring joy to those around her. It does not matter what others have made or whether hers is “the best.” She loves the fun and aliveness of creating and connecting.
She is also the queen, resting confidently on her golden throne, a crown upon her head and a scepter in her hand. She trusts her own wisdom and she expresses it in the world. There are other leaders, but she knows that she is queen of her world.
As the she pairs up with the North Node in Cancer, in a Grand Water Trine with Chiron in Pisces and Ceres in Scorpio, we are invited to bring the fullness of our humanity into the spotlight, and open ourselves to a new paradigm where we are the co-creators of our lives and our communities.
It is time we nurture the connections that will build a more balanced society. This includes connecting with ourselves, bringing love and acceptance to all parts of us, including the ones we’d like to be be rid of. Just as in the Strength card in the tarot, it is gentleness that can tame the wild lion.
And this also includes sharing our true selves, unique gifts and talents with the world. It’s time to step into the light of day. You have something precious to offer—what are you waiting for?
